What is it?

Does it hurt?
Microneedling isn’t typically painful & a lot of people comment about how they had prepared themselves for a much worse sensation. Some comment that it can feel ‘stingy’ or like sandpaper. We do have topical numbing creams in clinic to help patients manage any discomfort.
Side effects & downtime?
There is no downtime & you can return to normal activity straight away.
Your face may feel flushed and tender for a few days post treatment. We usually advise you to be gentle with your skin after this treatment. For the rest of the day don’t wash the skin or expose it to high heat or sweating.
When will I see results & how long will they last?
Results are fairly immediate and progresses over time.
Treating the skin with multiple microneedling sessions spaced at least one month apart can produce an increase in collagen and skin elasticity for several months.
